मागील वर्ष, दिड वर्षापासून महाराष्ट्रात वेदांता आणि फॉक्सकॉन कंपनी यांचा प्रकल्प सुरु होण्याबाबत महाराष्ट्रात सातत्याने चर्चा होत होत्या. मात्र आज अखेर वेदांता-फॉक्सकॉन कंपनीने आपला नियोजित प्रकल्प गुजरातला स्थापन करणार असल्याची माहिती वेदांता कंपनीचे मालक तथा प्रमुख अनिल अग्रवाल यांनी ट्विट करत दिली.
गुजरात सरकारने दिलेल्या सवलती आणि प्राथमिकतेमुळे हा प्रकल्प गुजरातला हलविण्यात आल्याचे अनिल अग्रवाल यांनी सांगत त्याबद्दल त्यांनी पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी, केंद्रीय तंत्रज्ञान मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव आणि गुजरात सरकारचे खास ट्विटरवरून आभार मानले.

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या धोरणानुसार हा प्रकल्प कार्यान्वित झाल्यानंतर जवळपास १ लाख तरूणांना नोकऱ्याच्या संधी मिळणार आहेत. तसेच देशातील स्किल्ड तरूण हा नोकरी देणारा वर्ग म्हणून ओळखला जाईल असेही अग्रवाल यांनी आपल्या ट्विटमध्ये म्हटले आहे.
हा प्रकल्प एकदा सुरु झाल्यानंतर भारतात चीप टेकर आणि चीप मेकर या दोन्ही सुरु होतील. त्यामुळे भारत देश हा दुसरा चीफ तयार करणारा देश म्हणून ओळखला जाणार आहे. त्याचबरोबर सिलिकॉन व्हॅलीच्या जवळ पोहोचेल असेही त्यांनी ट्विटच्या माध्यमातून सांगितले.
याचबरोबर देशात इलेक्ट्रॉनिक आयातीचे प्रमाण कमी होणार आहे. त्याचबरोबर देशातील डिजीटल गरज पूर्ण होईल असा आशावादही त्यांनी यावेळी केला.
